Maximus Profits Review – Scam or Legit?

Is the Maximus Profits binary options auto-trading software a scam, or is it legit? The man behind Maximus Profits is George Maximus – look at that, it has the same name as him, how convenient – a former Wall Street hedge fund trader who worked for Bridgewater Associates, who was fired when the credit crunch hit. He got on board with particular software when a colleague asked him to join him over at IMC Financial to add his expertise to the team, and claims that it can make you nearly $8,500 a day.

This all sounds good, at first; $8,500 is similar to what other sites claim, and Bridgewater and IMC are indeed prominent trading firms, so either he’s telling the truth or he’s done his research. But something ain’t right. He says the software already existed by the time he joined the team… the software with his name on it? Maximus Profits? So, what, they named it and then had to hope they could find a guy with that name or something? It’s a small hole in an otherwise plausible sounding backstory, but it’s my job to pull at the threads with these things.

Besides, there’s plenty more than that to base a judgement on with Maximus Profits. The site goes with the “let the video do the talking” route, and it does so for over twenty minutes. We start out with the classic run of paid actors bragging about how much they were told to say they’d made. I’ve seen so many videos like this that I’m actually starting to recognise some of these faces from previous reviews; that young lass with the glasses, for example, looks rather familiar. There’s a background tale that I touched on before, nothing much else to say on that, and the “We’re different to all the other scams out there” spiel, despite using the same actors.

The rest of the page has basically nothing to it, aside from a header, the good old “insert location here” line, and a sign up box. There are a few seals of quality beneath this (I like “Original Authentic Product” the best), and claims to have been seen on news broadcasts, which they haven’t. Of course, when you try to leave Maximus Profits, you get the “Last chance” pop-up. And then, right at the bottom, we have the links that they don’t really expect or even want you to see; a disclaimer, for example.

This is great; it takes you to a page with an affiliate URL and a selection of pre-typed emails to send out to people to bring them in. Remember, this page is freely accessible to anyone who scrolls to the foot of Maximus Profits’ page and clicks on this link, no verification necessary. I found this hilarious (I have an odd sense of humour, don’t worry about it). You’re right, George, you’re not like the other scams out there – not many scams conceal the fact that they are scams this badly.

If you are looking for trustworthy and profitable software, then take a look at Traders Revenge or the OptionRobot; both with over 80% ITM trades. Our current favourite piece of software is TrendXpert; this is a trend indicator for manual trading which also offers live training. All of these have proven to be profitable for us.
